Miami, Florida USA

IMG_0236Ministries in Miami include both Camillus House and Camillus Health Concern. Serving the South Florida community since 1960, Camillus House provides humanitarian services to men, women and children who are poor and homeless. Camillus offers a full continuum of services that includes food, shelter, housing, rehabilitative treatment, and health care. Each service is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being deserves love, respect and an opportunity to live a dignified life.

Founded in 1984, Camillus Health Concern has been a leader in providing primary health care services to persons who are homeless or have low income in Miami-Dade County. Opened in June of 1998, the state-of-the art health center offers persons who are homeless the opportunity to receive quality care in a professional and comfortable setting.

It is hard to believe it has been six years since we gathered in Albuquerque, NM and under the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit, surrendered to the Lord, the life and times of our beloved Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd Community.

May such a surrender be a blessing on us and those who are associated with us in the Hospitaller Province of the Good Shepherd.
