The Provinces of the Good Shepherd, Los Angeles, Latin America and the Caribbean have united in an initiative inspired and confirmed by the General Curia to create the Americas Region.
This Region aligns with the vision of the 70th General Chapter to strengthen the transmission of charism, promote collaborative governance, respond to emerging realities, ensure safe environments, secure charismatic and financial sustainability, and renew the consecrated religious life of the Brothers with spiritual depth, resilience, and boldness.
The establishment of the Americas Region is not a new structure but a tool for articulation, synergy, and collective discernment to foster mutual understanding and regional fraternity, advance common training processes, provide joint responses to social, health, vocational and spiritual challenges, care for senior Brothers with dedication, and respond together to the challenges of the times.
As part of this journey together, three Brothers from Latin American and the Caribbean Province, Brother Erik, Provincial, Brother Carlos, and Brother Daniel were recent guests of Brother David Lynch, Provincial, Province of the Good Shepherd. They toured and met with co-workers from Good Shepherd Non-Profit Homes and Good Shepherd Ministry, Toronto, ON, and Good Shepherd Centres, Hamilton, ON.
