OUR MISSION
We witness to Jesus’s healing love, as expressed by our charism of Hospitality, and provide compassionate care in the manner of Saint John of God.
For more than 450 years, the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God has been guided by a simple yet powerful mission: to serve others with compassion and hospitality. Inspired by our founder's example, we accompany individuals and families on their journeys by providing care, support, and opportunities that foster hope and independence. Through our ministries and services, we continue to build stronger communities and transform lives through the spirit of hospitality.
OUR VALUES
Hospitality: Hospitality is our core value, as embodied and expressed in the four guiding values of quality, respect, responsibility, and spirituality.
Quality: Excellence, professionalism, holistic care, awareness of new needs, model of union with our co-workers, model of St. John of God-type care, welcoming architecture and furnishings, collaboration with third parties
Respect: Respect for the other, humanization, human dimension, mutual responsibility toward co-workers and Brothers, understanding, holistic vision, promotion of social justice, civil and human rights, involvement of relatives

THE POMEGRANATE
The Hospitaller Order of St. John of God was born in the Spanish city of Granada. Its name is the Spanish word for “pomegranate” and the city, logically, uses the fruit as its symbol. This, in itself, could explain the Order’s choice of symbol. However, the pomegranate is also known to some as “God’s fruit.”
